I just received my Pakle Hybrid-W 16mm and haven't tried it yet, but I can tell just by holding it, that it will suit my playing style of control, finesse, and power when needed. Nice balance, too. Grit is like the elongated version. It will be my go-to paddle for sure.

I got this paddle first on batch 3, and it was pretty good. But, the grit did not last that long.
I ordered another one from batch 8, and I believe this has the fixed grit, since I have noticed no difference from the edge to the center after 5 hours of play. Unlike the batch 3 which had smoothened a lot.
So for batch 8 onwards, I believe they now deliver the grit they promise. And this might be the version that all those reviewers are speaking positively about!
