I love the Fuse. It has a great feel in my hands especially at the kitchen. And talk about “pop”! Wow! Thank you pakle. Such a great paddle.
I was looking at the Pakle Fuse initially when I came across this on the Pakle website. The fact that this has a form of durable grit along with a proven gen4 structure made it an intriguing option. Firstly, the unboxing experience is pretty good. You get an overgrip and 2 weighted lead tape 3gms. The paddle itself looks so pretty with purple colorway and the grit is quite coarse and unlike traditional peel ply grit. It reminds a lot of 11six24 hexgrit. The paddle is perfectly weighted and beautifully balanced. The play is on the softer side but there is a good feedback, almost gen2 like ( I come from a gen4 MPP Turbo and gen2 paddle). I actually prefer this over many gen4 paddles because of its soft play style and low swing but high twist weight. I struggle with tight grip and these paddles changed my grip style drastically. It gives the gen4 power during aggressive drives and smashes whenever necessary while maintaining soft hands while dinking in the kitchen. These are my daily now! I have sold MPP Turbo as it was too powerful and slower hands on court and I think I love these the most.
This paddle has premium power and spin at a budget price. My wife bought one for herself. Love playing with it.

Really solid paddle overall. Great balance of power and control, especially at the kitchen. It feels stable on resets and blocks, but still has great pop for drives and putaways. Comfortable in hand and easy to maneuver

I play with a more aggressive style, so it fits me perfect. The pop off the paddle is like you are punching it without having to and the power on full swings is nuts. I love this thing and it is so much fun to play with!

If you get the reference, you've played COD Zombies before. This paddle hits like a freight train. Tons of power, but very manageable. My drops, dinks, serves, and drives are killer with this. I used the Aerio Cyclone previously. I liked the feel of it but what it lacked was that rough grit so I could rip forehands. Perfect size dor 25 balls
I’ve had the paddle about 2 weeks now, switching around between it, the Vapor Power 2, Spartus P1, and the Volair Shift. This paddle has more power than all the paddles I mentioned, has the same shot shaping abilities with the great grit and pocketing, and its controllable if you have the ability to soften up and remove pace. I’ve had to make some minor adjustments to keep balls in but it only took a couple hours with a ball machine.
There’s only so much room in my bag; the Fuse has replaced the P1 due to its low swing weight, great power/pop/spin and the chunky nature of the P1. Looking forward to the durable grit hybrid being available for preorder again.
Let me say this first: the Fuse, nor any other paddle, is going to turn you into Ben Johns. What the Fuse will do is allow you to maximize your present skills and provide plenty of headroom to grow your game without having to “upgrade” your paddle. I’ve tried all my friends newest paddles — CPX, Enhance, Joola, Honolulu — and the Fuse doesn’t take a back seat to any of them. When they try my Fuse and hear what I paid, the look on their face is priceless. Buy a Fuse and kick some a**. You’ll have a good time with this paddle.
