I got this paddle first on batch 3, and it was pretty good. But, the grit did not last that long.
I ordered another one from batch 8, and I believe this has the fixed grit, since I have noticed no difference from the edge to the center after 5 hours of play. Unlike the batch 3 which had smoothened a lot.
So for batch 8 onwards, I believe they now deliver the grit they promise. And this might be the version that all those reviewers are speaking positively about!

With the reasonable price for a paddle, the paddle performs great!!! It’s a Great paddle when it comes to power, spin and pop. For control, it’s a bit less but for a controlled player like me it fits me perfectly. I’d not recommend s for players who can’t control the paddle. I stopped using the Boomstik as to me this paddle is better.

If you are looking for a poppy paddle with a good sweet spot, this is it. The value is excellent for the performance. To top it off, Pakle has been responsive to my inquiries and problems. Would def recommend.

Hi Paddle is as thonky as it gets. in fact, it's probably the loudest paddle I have ever heard. Here are some important stats below:
Power and Pop = 9.5/10
Feel=Stiff and Hollow
Sweetspot=Amazing
Grit=very gritty but not durable though
Overall this is a great power paddle, do not overswing or the balls goes flying. This is perfect for people who has great technique and control over their shots.
This paddle out performs paddles twice the cost. Nice long handle with really good grit. If your playing alot of doubles this is great for hands battles at the net.
The raps are good and they have lasted longer than expected.
Nice MPP feel with the great “thonky” sound. Very aggressive grit that’s lasted through 10hr of play, so far.
